Jeety boost Lumley police

The management of the Jeety Trading Company led by Managing Director Mohindar Bir Singh has donated assorted roofing materials worth thirty (30) Million Leones to the Lumley Police Station as part of their Corporate Social Responsibility.

In his address the Chairman of the occasion who doubles as Chairman for the Police Partnership Board, Alhaji Issa Catco Kamara commended the Managing Director of Jeety Trading for his tremendous assistance towards the Lumley Police building project. He said that Jeety Trading is a house hold name not only in the Lumley Community but all over the country.

 Alhaji Issa Catco Kamara reiterated that Jeety Trading Company has help immensely in the area of youth employment in the country as he expands his business to many parts of the country. He revealed that after several efforts to seek finance from so many institutions to fund the project only Jeety has taken the lead.

Alhaji Issa Catco Kamara lavished praised on His Excellency the President Dr. Ernest Bai Koroma especially on his development drive on infrastructure. He urged all to join the President to achieve his dream of Agenda for Prosperity for the nation.

The Chairman urged other institutions to come on board to assist the Sierra Leone Police in order to execute their duties in a good and conducive atmosphere. He said the Lumley community is now a big community compared to that of the 90’s as the building the Police presently occupies is a small building erected to serve that small community at that time.

Handing over the assorted building materials the Managing Director of Jeety trading Mohindar Bir Singh said they thought it wise as part of their Corporate Social Responsibility to give a helping hand to the police as they continue to enjoy peace and tranquility in their community and as a business institution they commended the role of the police to ensure a peaceful community.

Representing the Inspector General of Police, Assistant Inspector General of Police Chris Charley lavished praises on the Local Partnership Board for their relentless effort in seeing that the project is completed. He gave a brief background of the formation of the partnership board which is to ensure that the Police and the community work together.

 AIG Chris Charley commended the Local Unit Commander Alhaji Kabba Kamara and his personnel for their achievements at their duty station and urged them to be more professional in carrying out their responsibilities. He commended the relentless effort of Jeety Trading Company for their numerous assistants to the Sierra Leone Police Force and urged other institutions to emulate the good work of Jeety Trading Company.

In his vote of thanks Local Unit Commander Alhaji Kabba Kamara thanked the Inspector General of Police for his confidence reposed on him to continue his work in serving the nation. He expressed his gratitude to Jeety Trading Company for taking the lead to assist them in ensuring that they work in a favorable atmosphere in carrying out their responsibilities.

LUC Alhaji Kabba Kamara urged other institutions to complement the good effort of Jeety Trading Company more especially the Branch Manager Mr. Sandi for his close monitoring of the project. He pledged his personnel’s continue commitment in discharging their duties and called on all to work with the Sierra Leone Police in ensuring peace and stability in the country.
