Both teams commenced the opening ceremony which Spur United won 2-1.

The organizers have told this press that there has been peace throughout the commencement of the competition.
The sponsor, Mr. Umaru Bayor, told this press that he has put all modalities in place for the grand finale to end this weekend, adding that there are attractive prices for the champion, and runners-up as well as individual prizes for outstanding performance.
He disclosed that sixteen teams competed in the competition and that the purpose for him sponsoring the competition is to help improve the standard of the players.
