Dallas, Texas: September 23, 2013. The demand for banquet halls to host parties, banquets, receptions and many more events is becoming increasingly important for the Sierra Leone community in Dallas Fort Worth metropolis.  There are many competing facilities within the African community to lease or rent halls for the intended purposes.  Few Sierra Leoneans, however, have become proactive in becoming landlords and have jumped into a banquet hall leasing business in order to meet the high demands of Sierra Leoneans in the area.

Two years ago, Mr. Idris Sheriff and his wife Ada Sheriff developed a positive attitude to find ways of bringing Sierra Leoneans together in a safe and clean meeting environment.  They chose to establish a leasing banquet hall and called it, “Divine Banquet Hall” (DBH).  The facility will represent the social standards derived from our society.  Even though that business can generate income for the Sheriff family, that is not the main goal of the couple.  According to Idris, the overall intended objective and approach is to provide an adequate and quality ballroom that will accommodate a great number of people for any function that the Sierra Leone community can enjoy and be proud of.

The Divine Banquet Hall ballroom is strategically connected and located at the central part of the metropolitan.  Major highways such as Highway 183, Interstate 635, SH 114, and Interstate 35 are all routes that can provide you with easy access driving to the ballroom.

Whether you’re planning a Dallas Fort Worth wedding from anywhere, making a formal reception, anniversaries of any form, graduation parties, alumni fundraisers, and political party functions, or just want to enjoy your selection of automobiles, the Divine Banquet Hall ballroom offers a unique and perfect setting.  The DBH is completely a beautiful wedding ballroom that can accommodate more than 400 people with a huge hallway that can entertain dozens of people for recess.  The ballroom itself has a unique dance floor suitable to dance hip hop, reggae, and all African styles, keeps you dancing when there is a good disc jockey (DJ).

The Divine Banquet Hall ballroom is also available for business conferences, trade shows, fashion shows, rehearsal dinners, cultural events and private parties.  Even, people from outside the metropolis or out of state, the Divine Banquet Hall ballroom is just a perfect location for engagement and full wedding processions.

Different functions have already taken place at the great hall since its inception.  The most recent one was the Old Edwardians Alumni Association fundraising drive.  It was a fantastic function that attracted many Sierra Leoneans.

Over the years, Sierra Leoneans have held the view that small businesses are disproportionately accurate and a good idea to embark on when the economy is still crippling.  Many have embarked on home health, some are doing car dealership, and others are opening African market stores.  Idris and Ada Sheriff’s idea of a banquet hall leasing business is a sustainable one.  They are trying to build an alliance between progressive businesses and expand their business into a complete ownership of a banquet hall.
