“FA election is a test case for Alie Fornah…” delegates say

The Sierra Leone Football Association’s elective congress has been slated for 27th July 2013 in Freetown for the positions of President, Vice President, 1st and 2nd and Ex-officios.  (Photo: Alie Fornah)

The Normalization Committee headed by Alie Fornah is responsible for the conduct of these elections even though the venue is yet to be announced.

Scores of delegates across the country told this press that even though they believe that  Alie Fornah is a credible, honest and transparent statesman, certain politicians have thrown their weight on contestants that are believed to be members of the ruling All People Congress (APC) party and these political figures are doing everything humanly possible to divert votes in favor of certain contestants and plans to disqualify the most popular presidential candidate, Rodney Michael has also been uncovered. However, Michael is settling for a win and he revealed to this press that candidates must rely on what they have done in the past and when it is ripe to vote all 47 delegates will surly decide on the choicest.

“We are appealing  to the chairman to stop the FA secretariat from campaigning for other candidates of their choice on political grounds as a way to avoid chaos before, during  and after the polls”, the delegates appealed.
