RSLAF Gets New Joint Force Commander
Brigadier-General Brima Sesay has been appointed the new Joint Force Commander of the Republic of Sierra Leone Armed Forces (RSLAF). He has succeeded Brigadier John Milton who has been elevated to Deputy Chief of Defence Staff.
Brigadier-General Brima Sesay’s appointment sent soldiers jubilating as they know him to be a senior officer who cares for the welfare of every soldier.
The Chief of Defence Staff, Major-General Samuel Omar Williams noted the Brigadier-General Sesay’s appointment as Joint Force Commander was no mistake as he has excelled nationally and internationally. This was buttressed by the Minister of Defence, Palo Conteh who said even His Excellency the President, Ernest Bai Koroma fully blessed Brigadier-General Sesay’s appointment without any questioning.
