Police Officers Murder 17
Sources from the Sierra Leone Police have revealed that over the past two months, police officers have murdered seventeen people in various incidents, a development which many well-meaning citizens believe as unfortunate and worrying, considering the fact that police officers are paid to protect lives and properties. Our trusted sources further disclosed that most of the murdered people are harmless civilians while some are police officers.
The rampant killing of innocent and defenseless civilians by armed police men has become a cause for concern among many peace-loving citizens who are now doubting the professionalism of our police on whom so much money has been expended to give them proper training.
The concerned citizens have called on the Inspector- General of Police, Francis Munu, to use his noble office to ensure that the murderous officers are weeded from the force.
