Hon. Kaikai said they are here to make preparations for the 2013 Muslim pilgrimage (Hajj). He disclosed that they will be meeting with the Saudi Hajj authorities in Mecca and Medina, adding that, the meetings will be for the Sierra Leone Hajj Mission to give feedback to the Saudi authorities on the experiences of Sierra Leone pilgrims last year and to receive information on preparations and new policies for this year’s Hajj programme.

“We will also be inspecting hostels in both Mecca and Medina and make other related arrangements for our would-be pilgrims,” Kaikai maintained.

In a brief interview, Kaikai said he was thankful to Allah in the first place and also to His Excellency, President Dr. Ernest Bai Koroma for availing him with the opportunity and honour to lead the Sierra Leone delegation.

For him, it is such a great pride to actively take part in the arrangement and organization for this great annual Islamic event, Hajj, which is the fifth tenet of Islam.
