President Koroma to grace Gbanka Potho’s wedding in Sierra Leone

His Excellency the President of the Republic of Sierra Leone, Dr. Ernest Bai Koroma is expected to be the guest of honor at the historic wedding of the Public Relations Officer of Sierratel, Anthony Bai Koroma, alias Gbanka Potho Snr who is the blood brother of the president and the biological father of this writer.

The wedding is to take place on Saturday, April 13, at the Holy Trinity Church in Makeni and Dr. Ernest Sahr Gbembo of the Sierra Leone Roads Authority (SLRA)  is the godfather of the great wedding which is taking place on the advice of the late mother of President Koroma, Mama Alice Koroma. Mr. Anthony Bai Kamara will be marrying Hawanatu Forna.

The Minister of Trade and Industry, Honorable Alhaji Usu Boie Kamara, the former Minister of Information and Communication, Ibrahim Ben Kargbo, the Mayor of Makeni City, Sunkari Kamara, the Principal of Milton Margai College of Education and Technology, Dr. Dennis Kargbo, the Commander of Teko Barracks, Colonel Massaquoi, the Bishop of the Limba Pentecostal Church, Tamba Koroma and Reverend Bishop Lynch are among the special guests that will also grace the occasion.

Mr. Anthony Bai Kamara is a celebrated and development oriented man who is a good friend of the former British Prime Minister, John Major. With funds from John Major, Mr. Bai Kamara has constructed bridges in the Bombali Shebora, Mapaki, Makarie Gbanti and Safroko Limba Chiefdoms in the Bombali District in the Northern Province of Sierra Leone. Mr. Bai Kamara has extended special thanks to the management and staff of Sierratel for their immense contribution to his wedding.
