Regent Olympic Meet This Week
The Executive, Technical team and footballers of First Division side, Regent Olympic FC will meet on Wednesday 20th March 2013 at the club secretariat, Back of Globe Cinema, Syke Street at10am. The family meeting is to address several cracks in the club so that all will be okay before the commencement of the WAFA Division I league competition.
Team manager, Meleh Bangura told Sierra Express Media Sports that he plans to strengthen the club with key players and maintain committed old players who can rise to the task, adding that players with good discipline will be encouraged to stay. His wife, Madam Abie Bangura who is the deputy manageress of the club said in their deliberations, players who may want to transfer to another club must do so within the ambit of the laws of football in the country. She appeals to all club members to come closer and support Regent Olympic financially as the club is about to collapse at a time and the WAFA competition is around the corner.
