Subscribers Enquire… When Will Comium Promo End?

Subscribers of Comium across the country have raised concern as to whether ‘Comium Straight Top up Promo’ is a reality.

The promotion, which should have ended in December 2012, with the ultimate winner receiving a Mercedes Benz car and others receiving fantastic prizes, is yet to materialize.

According to a text message sent by the company, to qualify, a subscriber must top up at least 300 units by 7th September last year to participate in the weekly draw to become one of many winners of fantastic prizes.

Subscribers were also required to top-up at least 1000 units to get a chance in the grand draw to become one of 5 winners of a Mercedes Benz car.

The company has now extended the promotion to 15th February, 2013, much to the dismay of subscribers who have accumulated many chances and demanding the display of the Mercedes Benz and other prizes in the major streets of Freetown and if possible nationwide either on television and newspapers for the purview of the general populace.

John Toure, Comium’s Marketing Officer, disclosed to this medium that the extension of the promotion was due to the fact that the company has not met its target, an indication that the promotion is successful so far and articulated that all GSM operators have their own marketing strategy.

He continued that some operators also extend their promotions adding “Comium is no exception.”

Alfred Sesay, a Comium subscriber stated that the company should display the prizes to motivate them insisting, “Comium hardly showcase its prizes during promotions. I have more than 20 chances since the promotion commenced. What can convince us that the promotion is real when we have never set eyes on the winning prizes but just hearing about them?”
