Usu Boie Commissions Self-Help Project in Sierra Leone

As a way of complementing President Ernest Bai Koroma’s Agenda for Prosperity, patriotic youths of Constituency 105 in the Mountain Cut Area, Freetown, have embarked on a self-help project.

Youths in this area are busy rehabilitating the network of roads in that community. They have already rehabilitated Fighter Lane, Tarltton Lane and the Percival Lane.

Upon the invitation of the youths, Alhaji Usman Boie Kamara (UBK), on the 21st December went and commissioned the rehabilitated Fighter Lane.

While commissioning the road, UBK lauded the youths for their development strides noting that he was highly impressed.

“I will not hesitate to render help to such a project”, UBK emphasized, adding that even at short notice he responded to the invitation due to the importance of the project, which he said, is in line with President Koroma’s Agenda for Prosperity.

In his contribution, Alhaji Unissa Sesay aka (Awoko), commended the youths saying their project was no surprise. He called on other citizens to copy the good example of the youths of Constituency 105.  While encouraging the youths, he urged them to keep up their patriotic work.

The Youth Chairman, Yayah Mansaray, stated that they deliberately decided to choose UBK to commission the project because they believe he is a lover of development and a person who can be in position to assist them.
