Arrest warrant for two other journalist killers
Magistrate Komba Kamanda of the Freetown Magistrate Court No. 2 on 10th of December , 2012 ordered the arrest of two more suspects that have been named in the murder of the late reporter of The Exclusive newspaper Ibrahim Foday who was brutally killed in a land dispute in the Kossoh Town and Grafton communities early last year.
The magistrate said that he has made the request through the director of the CID for the arrest of one Bartez and another who were named in the testimony given by the accused person that is currently having a day in court.
Magistrate Kamanda maintained that “the arrest of the two accused is based on the evidence of the witness.”
However Eddie Tunde Williams who has been on the run, has been arrested and is now in Pademba Road Prison on a charge of murder, however, four witnesses have testified so far in the ongoing murder case of the journalist.
The matter was adjourned to the 17th of January 2013.
