Sports Minister Drops Another Bombshell

The controversial Youth, Employment and Sports Minister, Paul Kamara (in photo) has again accused several football stakeholders of being involved in match fixing.

According to the Minister, he alleges that Leone Stars matches between Malaysia, Jordan, and Syria were fixed, and that FIFA have informed the ministry about the unfortunate incident, the Minister promised to set up an investigation against all that are involved in the match fixing scam.

The accused featured heavyweight personalities in football of this country namely ex-FA President Nahim Khadi, J.S. Keifala, Abubakarr Kamara alias (Sweet Kay), Madam Isha Johansen’s Vice President, Alie Kargbo (Commoner), and Deputy Sports Minister, Alpha Coker.

“I’ll wipe out all corrupt officials in football which most stockholders’s referred to as a witch-hunt to eliminate people who are not in the good books of the minister” said Minister Kamara.

According to report, the whole saga started some years back when Alimu Sesay alias (Awoko) introduced a football agent by the name of Wilson Ras Peruma to Abubakarr Kabba in South Africa, ever since then the agent has been organizing matches for Leone Stars against other countries in which the result are always poor in performance.

According to most of the officials mentioned, they said they are innocent and will be glad if there is an independent investigation.

“If the allegation is true, it is the responsibility of the FA to do such investigation and not the minister who has taken sides since the FA presidential saga started, adding it’s all a game to embarrass and eliminate his enemies”, a cross section of the delegates said.

“The minister should be ashamed of himself as the Sports Ministry Deputy Director of Sports name was mentioned as the minister is the boss and must sack his director soonest,” commented some football fans.

Some of the accused claim that “in the competition in Malaysia the team reached the semi finals and was eliminated by a penalty tier is that what people call match fixing”, when Paul Kamara’s Leone Stars lost 4-0 to Jordan and 3-1 to Angola they do not claim match fixing, club officials asked.  They appeal to the Minister Paul Kamara to stop digging holes where there are none.
