Leone Stars assure fans of victory

Most of the selected players were available for the training session including debutants Gibril Sankoh of Augusbury, Mustapha Dumbuya of Portsmouth, Mohamed Kamanor, and several others present at the opening ceremony, while Alfred Sankoh and Mohamed Probosky Bangura will jet in on Thursday 6th September 2012.

Leone Stars have lined up 21 players for training and the players are in high spirits for the Tunisia encounter this weekend, Saturday 8th September 2012 at National Stadium.

Speaking to Leone Stars German-based defender for Augsburg in the Bundasliga, Gibril Barel Sankoh said he is delighted for finally coming home to represent his country and hopes to win convincingly. Gibril said, “We are all prepared, focused, determined, and assure all our fans of victory this weekend.

Mohamed Kallon revealed that in a telephone conversation with Pobosky Bangura he had this to say, “We are going to beat Tunisia 3 to 0 this weekend and all Sierra Leoneans should solidly support their home team Leone Stars at the National Stadium.”
