POEM: SILENCE IMAGE

Time and again

We have met

Along some lonely footpath,

Where streams meet

And, haven’t we also talked?

As loving eyes often do?

Time and again

We’ve been together,

Hand in hand holding each other,

As inseparable as rider and his saddle

Sitting on some velvet sofa

Looking at each other

As loving eyes do.

What then is your message?

Tell me,

And, I, will whisper mine into your ears

My message is simple

It is,

I love you

Do you, as well?
