CEFORD Director promoting Agenda for Change

The Director said his organization has supported 1,200 students through the access and retention project by providing seven years scholarship to the students with facilities that include uniforms, tuition fees and learning materials.

CEFORD the Director said has thematic areas of focus in the areas of education, skills training, youth empowerment through savings schemes and girls mentoring in Bombali, Port Loko and Kambia Districts.

Moses Ogendeh Kamara said ninety three schools are currently benefiting from CEFORD in Northern Sierra Leone.

He also explained that they are also creating village loan and savings schemes in rural communities, and also promoting small and medium enterprises to compete within the local market through transformations.

The development oriented Director of CEFORD stated that he is willing to support and promote development across the country depending on the availability of funding from development partners.

The Director believes that though he is not a politician, he is willing to serve his country in every capacity deemed necessary for him by the Government of Sierra Leone.

The Current President of Sierra Leone Earnest Bai Koroma was his former Teacher at the St. Francis Secondary School Makeni.
