Patrick Lombie and Momodu Samura could not acclimatize with the hot weather atmosphere to contest their opening matches against Germany and Spain who seemed to be very comfortable with the weather conditions.

Coach Sorie Kamara who had so much confidence in his boys expressed dissatisfaction about the level of their performance against their counterparts.  ‘’My boys did not play to expectation and I’m very much disappointed.  The Germans nor the Spaniards were stronger than them but they became panicked and could not deliver well, ’’ said Sorie.
