UK based organization boosts Magburaka school
Magburaka, July 6 (SLENA): Children Learning Services in the United Kingdom has donated a consignment of ten computers and accessories to the National Commercial Secondary School (NCSS), Magburaka, northern Sierra Leone.
Briefing SLENA, the principal of the school, Henry Khalilan Conteh said, the items were presented to the school through the Member of Parliament, Mohamed Albert Tarawalie of Constituency 59 Tonkolili Central.
Mr. Conteh said the computers have been put into a seven million leone security building to avert thieves stealing the educational package from their campus.
The consignment, he assured, would be utilized for their intended purpose with the hope his administration would soon provide a generator to kick start the operation of the computers.
The principal stressed that the aid has now redeemed the school administration from the problem of having going to Makeni for such facility. Mr. Conteh disclosed that plans afoot to employ the services of a computer expert to train staff and pupils of the school.
He commended his benefactors and the Member of Parliament, Hon. Tarawallie for the gesture, describing it as a surprise package for the NCSS.
