Bah and Mansaray Families Donate to Brotherhood School

The Sierra Leone Muslim Brotherhood Primary School at Calaba Town headed by Mr. Mohamed A.K. Bah and his Deputy, Mr. Ahmid Jalloh have acclaimed the Bah and Mansaray families based in America and of Calaba Town in Freetown for providing learning materials to the school.

Mr. Mohamed Bah made the disclosure recently during the school’s inter-house sports meeting at the Pa. Morlai Field, Calaba Town, east of Freetown.

He also commended the executive of the Community Teachers Association, headed by Alhaji Adama and the Manager of the school, Pa. Alhaji Haroun Bai Sesay for their numerous contributions to the school over the years.

According to the Head Teacher, praise should be given to whom it is due, especially those who have contributed to the advancement of education in the country and described the donation as invaluable to the learning process of the pupils.

Mr. Mohamed Bah continued that the school would celebrate its 41st anniversary this year for which he invited all old pupils at home and in the Diaspora to grace the occasion highlighting that since its inception, the school has produced illustrious people most of whom are now serving in various positions of responsibility in government and the private sector.

He also disclosed that there are four houses in the school:  Kandeh Bureh -Green, Nyanday -Yellow, Shangari- Blue and Turay- Red and enlightened that Nyanday House emerged winner in this year’s competition.

Mr. Ahmid Jalloh articulated that out of 125 pupils who took this year’s NPSE, 100 passed with good grades for which he acclaimed teachers for their dedicated service and appealed to all well-meaning individuals to come to the aid of the school.
