Cocaine dealer makes third appearance in court

Kuma Okeke, a Nigerian born, was caught with ten bulky substances believed to be cocaine, six hundred Euros, two hundred dollars, a Nokia 1100 phone and a Guinean passport at the Lungi international airport on the 29th October.

The accused is making his third appearance before Magistrate Steven Conteh of Court No. 1 on Wednesday 25th November on a one count charge of unlawful possession of cocaine.

Police Constable 7206 Samuel Bangura attached at Congo Cross Police station tendered the above named items before the court as exhibits. After the tendering of the four exhibits magistrate Steven Conteh asked the accused Kuma Okeke if he had any questions for PC 7206 Samuel Bangura, but the accused responded that he had none. The accused did not have a lawyer defending him on the matter brought before the court, however Okeke was refused bail for the third time as the matter was adjourned to the 2nd of December 2009. A prominent individual in the court yard whispered to Sierra Express that Kuma Okeke was among the suspects shattered by the first cocaine saga. The tall, fair in complexion Nigerian in the accused box glared at the presiding magistrate like an Egyptian mummy as his fate was being decided.
