Kamboi Eagles deny EE Lions smile

The roaring EE Lions FC were on Wednesday 28th March 2012 held 1-1 by Kenema Kamboi Eagles at the National Stadium.  Both teams past results have been disappointing and either were eager for a victory.

The match commenced with both teams displaying fascinating football and EE Lions opened the score with a powerful header by Foday Conteh from Idriss Scott right wing cross in the 9th minute.

The visitors, Kamboi Eagle, leveled before the break by Harrish Wuah with a spectacular goal in the 19th minute.

Both teams put up a brave fight throughout the 2nd half with wasted chances but it all ended 1-1 at the final whistle.  Speaking to Eagle’s boss, coach-Mustapha Kaisamba, he told Sierra Express Media sport that he is okay with the one point away from home and from a big club like EE Lions.

Supporters of EE Lions were disappointed with the poor performance of their club.

Kissy all Stars engaged FC Kallon Thursday, but the result was not known till press time.
