JS Keifala may vie for 2012 FA presidency

Sierra Express Sports understands that the acting President of the Sierra Leone Football Association (SLFA), Mr. Joseph Samba Keifala, is eyeing the hot seat of FA Presidency in their forthcoming elective congress.

A source from the Football Academy said Mr. JS Keifala has served in football as chairman of Kamboi Eagles FC, and also Chairman of Eastern Region Football Association. He has served as Executive Member of the Football Association under the led administration of Justice Tholla Thompson, and is currently serving as first vice president under the leadership of Nahim Khadi.

According to most of his followers, high profile football stakeholders, JS Keifala is the only administrative head that is most fit to vie for the position in their forthcoming elective congress, because of his wealth of experience.

“Mr. Keifala is disciplined, transparent, and accountable and has a vast knowledge in the game of football. If he is given the baton, he is sure of taking the FA to a towering height of success and achievement”, the source maintained.

“If the football administration in Sierra Leone should be cleaned up, JS Kelfala is one of those candidates that is fit for the job; he is a fanatic football stakeholder and reserved a lot to improve the game”, a sports analyst, Peter Shilton stated.

Other football personalities who have an interest in the post are Mr. Rodney Michael, Mr. Brima Mazola, and Mr. Christian Dauda, the latter is currently based in England.

Mr. JS Keifala is not available for comment when contacted by Sierra Express Media sports but many football stakeholders have said he would be a suitable candidate for the top FA job in the country.
