Diamond Stars bid top flight in the premier league
Lamin Bangura, Head Coach of Diamond Stars, has disclosed to Sierra Express Sports that his team is striving to maintain a comfortable driving seat on top of the Sierra Leone Premier League campaign.
Coach Lamin was speaking ahead of his team’s pending visit in Freetown to clash with the Old Edwardians FC. He maintained that his boys are determined to win this year’s Premier League. He banks on the quality squad he has without injuries as he described them to be the new sensational kids on the game.
“Playing against a stubborn team like Old Edwardians FC is not an easy task to imagine, but we’ll travel safe with this confidence to collect our deserving three points which will place us more comfort on the lead”, he states.
“My ambitions for this year are so great and I’m excited to win the league in grand style and set the pace for other teams to follow”, Bangura said. “Winning the league is nice but with creativity and style, we’ll add some spice in the whole affair,” the head coach noted.
