26 Year Old Man Rapes Girl 12

A 26 year old man named Aruna Bangura; identified as a truck pusher at Malta Street, Freetown, on the 16th September 2009 raped a 12 year old girl who was sent to sell cassava for her parents, police report say.

Aruna Bangura was inside a kiosk opposite number 4 Malta Street when he invited the girl to come into the kiosk on the pretext that he was going buy from her. According to the girl, Aruna forced her to take off her underwear after which he violated her. News is that area boys heard the screaming of the young girl and barged into the Kiosk only to find the girl under the pant stripped Aruna Bangura.

The assailant was mercilessly beaten and taken to the Ross Road Police Division Cline town for further investigation.
