Ambassador Munu Signs Book of Condolence at Norwegian Embassy

Sierra Leone’s Ambassador to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia yesterday joined a good number of diplomats from different diplomatic missions at the Royal Norwegian embassy, Diplomatic Quarters in Riyadh to sign the Book of Condolences opened in the wake of last week’s attacks.

Dozens of people were killed and wounded in a bomb blast outside a government building in Oslo and subsequent shooting at a youth camp at Utoeya.

Ambassador Wusu B. Munu signed the book in an embassy room under the glow of a single white candle as the Norwegian Ambassador, H.E Carl Wibye  sat not too far from him.

“I hereby express my deepest sympathies with Norway and the Norwegian people for the loss of innocent lives. Norwegian people have had a sorrowful experience, and the act  has saddened not only the Norwegians, but also the entire humanity,” Ambassador Munu wrote.

The Ambassador was accompanied by the Information Attache, Alhaji M.B. Jalloh.
