Sirajin condemns alliance with Mayor
The President of Sierra Leone Israel Friendship Society – Sirajin Rolings-Kamara utterly condemns media claims that he has had international business trips with the Mayor of the Municipality of Freetown, His Lordship Herbert George Williams.
“I am a friend of the press, but will not sit by and see people attribute me to issues that are not part of me,” Sirajin said.
“I was amazed hearing that I was with Mayor Herbert Williams in Israel on a business trip. Yes, I have had serious dealings with Israel, but virtually not traveled with the Mayor to Israel on any business trip at all.”
Sirajin however revealed to this press that he is a friend of Mayor Williams, but has nothing to do with the office of the Mayor.
“I‘m not a friend of the office of the mayor but rather a friend of Herbert,” he said.
He furthered that he has never joined the mayor in any overseas trip, be it personal or otherwise, and has not benefited anything from the Freetown City Council generally.
He said City Council is owing him the sum of US$ 2,445 being money he deposited for the printing of tickets for the Morgan Heritage concert in December 2010.
