JOB shames detractors

Opposition leader, John Oponjo Benjamin (JOB) has shamed detractors proving a point that he was not “humbled” in any way, shape, or form, at the house of former Vice President Solomon Ekuma Berewa over the weekend.

Mr. Benjamin said he was accorded maximum respect in the house of the former Vice President and presidential flag bearer as the former regards him as the party chair.

Speaking in a telephone interview, he said he has contributed immensely to solemnize the various factions within the party for the good of all as he sees himself serving the role of a catalyst and unifier.

“Since I took over the party chair position, I have tried to work tirelessly to see that I succeed in bridging the various gaps within the party, God knows, but it’s hard. At times people cry me down for little things, or sometimes for doing virtually nothing,” he states.

Mr. Bejamin impressed that the members were pleased with his excellent speech that suggested an in-road for the out of court settlement of the court injunction Dr. Bubakei imposed on the party that prevents them from holding their delegates’ conference in which the flag bearer is chosen.

The opposition leader sounded optimistic that Mr. Berewa’s mediation would yield fruits as both parties are currently working on a document to augment a withdrawal of the said court matter.

  • Now SLPP is coming back. What should have been done initially is eventually taking place last. UNFORTUNATE!! However, it is a good path to the interest of the nation. Thanks to SoloB.
Thank you Dr. Bubuakei Jabbie for showing that you are an erudite intellectual.
