The just concluded club championships which took place earlier May is an annual event. It attracts all table tennis lovers and sportsmen. He said that he has been training very hard 3 times a week and this is what helped him to be victorious.

‘I won the title in the year 2004, and in the year 2003 I was runner up. This repeated again in the year 2005.

I am again poised to do my best in this tournament. My sole aim this time is not to capture the title, but to see how best I could measure up with other guys coming from other clubs to participate.

Theodore Nicol has been playing Table Tennis in his homeland Sierra Leone for over twelve years playing for the Young Men’s Christian Association and also the Sierra Leone Table Tennis Association. He played alongside Fawzi Hassan, Arnold Snell and Sugar Ray now in the Diaspora. He has been supporting various Table Tennis Association’s in the country with sporting gear.
