According to recent reports from Vientiane the capital of Laos the hulking defender has registered his first vital goal for his new side; he was in action for his Chanthaburi FC side against the National team of Laos last Monday in a friendly encounter.

His goal came in the 75th minutes of play to increase the goal line to 4-2 in the match from a header.

Speaking to Sierra Express Media, Sama said they are presently on tour and is hoping to do his best to regain his form and he is delighted that he made the move to Thailand.

“Am looking forward to wear my national colour again, I love playing for my country I hope Coach Christian Cole will give me the opportunity again, I was unlucky in my last match form Sierra Leone in Gabon, we lost and I pick ed up a card, but it was a great encounter away from home” he told Sierra Express Media.

“I still believe I can play for my country, we have very brilliant young talented players, but the team still needs experience and I can give that, in fact not only me the team still need couple of experience players” he noted.

Sama with great experience in Asia played with LG – ACB Ha Noi in the Vietnamese League in 2006, 2007  join Indonesia club side Persija Jakarta, his outstanding performances take him to the west to play for Al- Wahda in Syria 2008.
