SLPP on the warpath?

Mr. Express is a worried citizen, what with the nations opposition party the Sierra Leone People’s Party  on the warpath. The reasons for the war like decision taken by the SLPP is  numerous, ranging from the alleged rape of their supporters to the inability of the Koroma administration to solve the global economic crunch affecting Sierra Leone.

Mr. Express is however wondering if the opposition politicians are also declaring war in preparation for the 2012 election which they are determined to win. In a country which has been variously described as a failed state, and which blame has been to a large extent been blamed on all government both past and present, one wonders what new aspects of governance the SLPP has up its sleeve.

What the SLPP however needs to do is to wait till elections and stop campaigning as this is not the right time. Mr. Express offers condolences to the SLPP for losing power, but thinks too much cries over spilt milk will not be of any benefit, both to the milk and the ones who caused the spill.

Let us move out of the circle of the blame game and concentrate on nation building. That’s the only way forward.
