Iranian Ambassador calls on HE Macauley for closer tie

The Islamic Republic of Iran’s Ambassador accredited to the Federal Republic of Nigeria His Excellency Hussein M. Speaking during a courtesy call on H.E Henry O. Macauley,  on Wednesday October 20th 2010 at the Sierra Leone High Commission Chancery on Plot 308 Mission Road, Central Business District  Abuja, the Iranian envoy expressed pleasure at the growth of the Sierra Leone High Commission in the area of regional reintegration, Diplomacy and Education.

He expressed delight  to hear that Iran has an active Embassy and a very active cultural centre in Sierra Leone, and said Iran also have a cultural centre in Lagos the Commercial City of Nigeria and a Chancery in the Federal Capital territory of Abuja.

Responding, H.E. Henry O Macauley thanked the Iranian envoy for his observation and praise for him and his Mission.

Permit me Your Excellency to comment on the activities of the Iranian Embassy in Sierra Leone and its cultural center in Freetown the capital which are contributing to the growth of Education, Health and Trade.
