Sierra Express editor arrives in Senegal

The editor of Sierra Express Media, Ibrahim Samura, has arrived in Senegal/Dakarr for a week long training of trainers in investigative journalism.

The training, according to Samura, cuts across the enlightenments of journalists on issues bordering on the investigation and publication of accurate, balanced and fair stories.

Participants were drawn from respective African countries.

Samura who represents Sierra Leone disclosed how he intends to import all that he learns to colleague journalists.

Samura appreciates the efforts of the President of the Sierra Leone Association of Journalists, El-Hajj Umaru Fofana, who, in his wisdom made possible his trip to Senegal come true.

The training, according to Samura, starts on the 22nd and ends on 29th October.

“It is my desire to communicate all I learn in Senegal to colleagues in Sierra Leone,” were the words of Samura minutes before his departure.
