Africell gives Le 60 Million to lucky winner

Africell, one of Sierra Leone’s leading telecommunication companies past Thursday presented a cheque of Le 60 million to the winner of the Africell’s Ramadan promotion codified as ‘Find the Missing Treasure.’

Speaking at Africell’s head office at Wilberforce Village Freetown, Head of Event and Sponsorship, Mr. Arthur B. Kallon, explained how Africell has worked relentlessly in meeting to policies as called for on the conduct of corporate social responsibility dispensation and that Africell shall continue its restless efforts to render joyable services to Sierra Leoneans. He however stressed on his company’s consecutive nominations as having the Best in Customer Care Services.

Reemphasizing Africell strives on meeting to the fullest its corporate social responsibility; he called on all to take part in Africell’s goodwill ventures for society.

He further disclosed that the promotion was to keep Muslims subscribers happy while they observe the month of Ramadan.

Head of Public Relations, Mr. Tommy Terry Coker, also disclosed the amount of money and household equipment won during periods of bonanza. The equipment, he said, cut across 32-inch plasma TVs, generators, and cash prizes. While explaining how draws where held, he  said the promotion ‘Find the Missing Treasure’ has ended and that the final presentation was held today, Thursday 16th September 2010.

Mr. Mohamed F. Conteh, who emerged as the lucky winner of the Le 60 million, thanked Africell for making his dream come true.

He also thanked God for appointing him as the lucky winner of the promotion.

He said that he was coming from prayers when he received a call from Africell that he was to choose a number among baskets tagged 1- 40. He choose basket 10 and was lucky to be announced the winner of cash price of Le 60 million!

“I will ever forget the word ‘Open Sesame’ in my life,” Mohamed said.
