PMDC Holland strong defect to SLPP Holland

In the bid to galvanize support and to increase its membership to win the 2012 elections, SLPP Holland chapter had a general meeting to discuss the way forward and the recruitment of new members. The meeting took place in Schiedam.

In a dramatic twist an influential  ounder member of PMDC Holland and a member of the executive, Chernor Bah (in photo) commonly called (Cee Bah) told the gathering that “it’s time for PMDC and its leadership to face the reality and do the right thing, as from today I am no longer a member of the PMDC, coming back home (SLPP) is the right thing to do, SLPP has the momentum, number and wisdom to unseat the APC and restore proper democracy we once enjoyed,” he expressed his disappointment in the leadership of the PMDC and that what was their aim of forming the PMDC was not followed to the letter, PMDC he said is a one man show.

In his remarks the chairman SLPP Holland Mr. Solomon B Mansaray welcomed Mr. Bah, coming back home he said is indeed the right thing to do. The chairman told the jam packed hall that SLPP is the only democratic party, this is evident by the way the  country is been governed by the APC no respect for the constitution, tribalism, corruption and total disregard of the opposition MPs in parliament.  This was not happening during then SLPP government. The chairman encourages members to pay their dues and should be prepared to serve the party at all times.

The Administrative Secretary Mr. Ernest Smith also thanked Mr. Bah and assured him, that SLPP Holland would do anything it takes for Mr. Bah to feel very much at home as this would be seen as an example for others to come and join up.

Mr. Smith told the gathering that SLPP is moving to the right direction to win the upcoming elections.  In Sierra Leone the party is determined to win the elections, they have put structures in place that would a prevent split in the leadership race. He further told the crowd that SLPP was made to win genuine elections in Sierra Leone.

A prominent SLPP member Mr. Victor Lamin who has worked so hard with Mr. Patrick Brima Kapuwa and Joachim Alphonsus Sammoh to bring together SLPP Holland and a group of Sierra Leoneans living in Asia while he was in China, has moved to the Netherlands to further his studies  has been appointed interim-Secretary General of the SLPP Holland Chapter

Present at the meeting was the Chairman SLPP Holland Mr. Solomon B Mansaray, Mr. Ernest Smith Administrative Secretary, Finance Secretary Ibrahim Kargbo, Victor Lamin interim Secretary General, party members and observers.

The vote of thanks was giving by Ramatu Sumah, she thanked all party members for making the meeting a success and urged them to continue their good work for the party, this would enable the SLPP win the elections in 2012.

  • @James Cole: I wonder where you got your assertion from that Ernest in particular is doing well for the party. He is doing more harm than good to the party. What qualifies Ernest Smith to be Sec. Gen for SLPP? Check his track records…this man has been doomed a failure. As seen from above, someone who cannot even manage a small S/Leonean community in the Netherlands is now a spokesman for a greater party as the SLPP? It is about time we think carefully and stop this man from creating rosy pictures about SLPP before it gets worst. Let Ernest advocate for his better well being before he advocates for our party. We need a serious minded person than the likes of Ernest. He is a wolf in a sheep’s clothing. We are all been warned!

  • I think falks you should not be angry when Cee Bah knowingly know that what his is doing is his right. if the PMDC was still functioning in Sierra Leone and Holland this should not have happen, I thinks these SLPP guys are doing a good job (ERNEST, SOLO and others)

  • I dont find any qualms about your defecting to SLPP-Holland. My fear is that you dealing with people who do not even seek the interest of you when they met with SLPP stalwarts in Sierra Leone. The SLPP in Freetown does not even know them, ernest or solomon. They are all interested in their own personal things when they are there. Listen, These two guys,Ernest and solomon, are not reliable. Ernest can never be a politician because he is interested in bogus and empty life. He was in the army when NPRC took over the reign of power. He is not reliable: a congosa man he is. Please dont trust this man

My only fear is having Ernest Smith in the midst of decent SLPP folks you.
please retrospect his leadership in the Eindhoven organisation, all he brought to our beloved M.I.A. was gossping, lies, empty promises and the promotion of hatred in our midst.
I AM NOT PLAYING HATRED,but i advice decent C-BAH to refrain from anything that is ERNEST’S.BE WARNED OF THIS DANGEROUS AND MONSTROUS GUY.

  • Chernor Bah,I wonder why you allow yourself to be used by Ernest Smith to propagate empty intentions.By the way, you were never a strong man of PMDC. Do the party headquarter know you? Ernest is not even known by the SLPP is Sierra Leone. He now wants to start something which he will not continue. Trust me, Find something better to do instead of teaming up with a political eunuch who has lost grip of political reality. Ask him, what did you do for SLPP Holland when you were in Sierra Leone? He will only lie and lie until you become suffocated. Please concentrate on your school.LONTA
